A cinema Blog with a unique experience

When Emmie & Elliot contacted us asking our availability we knew their story will be easy to be involved and connect. They both love Cinema and Wine plus Napa has been an especial place for them. We remember when she said “After an extensive research I felt in love with the storytelling in your videos and our story needs to be told by you.” We always feel the responsibility and love the challenges. It was a perfect day and all the events were beautiful. We had the chance to shoot in a private mansion as per Bride request. She wanted to be married in a Vineyard and the option for Brides by the Napa County is to celebrate the wedding in a private property. It was worth it to make it private and exclusive since they had the place for the entire wedding. Is always very exciting when we have couples from different cultures getting married and unifying families with a lot of new experiences to share and learn from each other.

We know there is nothing better to enhance the experience of the wedding day like a Same Day Edit video production. Jovan was interested in having a surprise for Allison and let her taste a “sneak peek” of their Big Day during the reception at The Ritz Carlton Orlando. Our goal was to have the SDE ready early enough to have the impact of all the guests before the dancing. Pressure was on but love pressure!! The feedback from everybody was great. Once again the teamwork of all the wedding vendors that day made the difference on the quality of the product. Thank you to the couple and we appreciate how important is for them their wedding video.

I personally want thank you again all the vendors to help us to make this happened sharp on time and Tickled Pink Brides for the time coordinating with us previously to the event this SDE.

As us women are growing up even at the mere age of 9 years old we play house. There’s Mr. Perfect and the Bride. We envision and daydream for years of our big day. Spend weeks planning for the event, which we waited so long for. There’s always that one perfect dress that we’ve had our eye on or even that one venue which seems to be the only spot our vows can be exchanged flawlessly. In my case it was neither of the above said. Although my wedding date is set I still don’t have a venue and I know I am not even close to finding my wedding dress, but one thing I ALWAYS did have my heart set on was an amazing videographer, who goes by the name of Jose Ortiz even before my fiancé could even fathom proposing (Men! They take forever!) Many of my friends think I’m crazy for jumping straight to a videographer without anything else planned. At one point my own fiancé, a resident Physician thought I was losing my mind, as I demanded him to alter his schedule to Jose’s. I didn’t even bother looking at venues or finalizing my wedding date till I knew Jose was available. This generation (albeit a bit spoiled) is more visual. In a generation where Face Time on our iPhones gives us the ability to see the other person and make us feel so close to them— pictures just no longer suffice. When was the last time you saw a picture that melted your heart, touched every little cell in your body AND gave you goose bumps? Even a one-minute trailer or commercial has more of a lasting impression than just one photoshopped pictured.For the brides who are on a budget (which consists of the most of us) I just have to say…no one is going to remember how many roses you had in your centerpieces. None of your guests are going to care about your ice sculpture. In fact, most of your guests probably can’t even recall the intricate details of your wedding a month after. The only two items you have to look back on are your pictures and wedding video. You spend weeks and weeks planning an event and in just a few hours it’s already over. A talented videographer can bring out the beauty in just about any setting and most importantly capture the magnificence of all your hours of hard work that you were unable to focus and truly enjoy during your big day.

But you know why I REALLY want you and your cinematography skills?

One day….60 years from today when I am sitting with my husband and my own memory begins to fail me I want to be able to see everything we did prior to building our life together. I want to replay every single aspect of our wedding. I…actually want fall in love with my husband all over again. That gift can only be given to me by Jose Ortiz.

Hello to everyone following us in our blog! We would to share once again a beautiful wedding Movie Trailer from early this year before we say “bye” to the 2011. The beautiful wedding took place in Bella Collina Golf Club. This is in our opinion one of the most beautiful venues in Central Florida.  Big Surprise for the Groom was the show of fireworks at the end of the night closing this awesome event and opening a new life for this beautiful married couple.

Now is the time to introduce Sepi and Ryan with their beautiful story. It was a BIG pleasure for us to capture their wedding day and to be part of this unique event! It is amazing how two souls with different cultures can fall deep in love and be forever living their own love story!

Discipline is one of those things we try to keep every time we create a wedding movie piece for our couples.  The amount of work traveling, shooting and editing weddings is compensated when we experience the reaction and satisfaction of our clients. In this occasion the project went to a new different level. Two different day events with two different locations separated by over 10,000 miles of distance. Also in top of that the real challenge of presenting their trailer in the last event including both days (NYC and Taiwan). Almost 400 guests in Taiwan enjoyed the preview of their wedding movie showcasing a taste of the New York event combined with the last Taiwan event. Honored to get such a positive feedback from everyone in Taipei and not forgetting the first class treatment received since day one in Taiwan by the couple, family together with friends.

Feels like now we have another new home at the other side of the world!!

This year has been full loaded of blessings and intense work. Every time we produce a Same Day Edit is a new challenge and also a new satisfaction with the results. This time was not the exception when we moved quick overseas to the stunning destination of Lanzarote Canary Island, Spain. This couple stole my attention from the first minute. They made us feel like we were friends, their personalities are awesome and made my work so easy even when I was shooting a wedding a bit different of our American Weddings. The reception event was held in the house of the Bride and a lot of family, friends and Spain personalities were attending to be part of the main event. Next day the local newspaper had the article where they said “It was the wedding of the year” in Lanzarote. I was not surprise at all cause the truth is these two are very real and in love. You can see it from miles away.

That’s what matters in the end!

There is nothing better than charging in full mode our “Batteries” when we have to produce these Same Day Edits and receive positive feedback of the clients that same day of the wedding event. Thank you!! This is what even their wedding photographer said after watching the SDE that night!

One of the most exciting things about our job is getting to experience so many different cultures. When we first met Aishah at the studio, we immediately connected. The only problem at that time, was that we had no sample of an Indian wedding to display. Nevertheless, Aishah put her trust in us (just based on the other amazing films we displayed) and invited us to her amazing wedding at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Sarasota, Florida. I was very excited about the Same Day Edit we would produce, because I knew there would be over 400 guests in the room that would be completely blown away by the film we were going to display at their reception on the 3rd day of the event. I have to say, we are truly humbled and honored to be able to collaborate with some of the top wedding and event filmmakers in the world. Thank you to Antonio for helping us to assist with the shoot.  Needless to say, together we were able to produce stunning imagery, which I hope you enjoy in the film below. We all know that a wedding day is full of emotions and happiness but also nervousness. Even though they were planning the wedding from long time ago. When we met Nicole and Jonathon we knew their wedding would be a great story. It is amazing how we can connect with people’s feelings when we film their wedding day. It is so much positive energy and good vibration around that day. For example like when the groom can’t contain himself when he see the bride for the first time. The following story is a good example of that.

Honored of been part of a presentation with my good friend David in New Orleans LA. This presentation was very important to me. I had the chance to try to guide and and provide tools to top wedding event filmmakers from all the nation on how to realized their talents and non talents. This test provides help and suggestions to know better your strengths and how to apply them to your business or any other personal situation.
